I have a 2000 gtx-di that will start but the maintenance light comes on and as soon as you rev the engine up just a little the engine shuts off after the RPM come back down. When the engine stalls there is a clicking sound after it stops running. It start right back up but does the something over and over.No maintenance lights came on. Things done to the ski so far. Compression test 130-5 same both cylinders. New plugs. New gas. New fuel pump. New regulator/ rectifier. cleaned rave valves. Inspected water pressure valve looked brand new. still same problem of rpm topping out at 4850-5000. Does anyone one have any advice? thank you for your help!

The main lite comes on about every 25 hours, no big deal. Fuel filter was removed and cleaned, was not terribly dirty. Issue number 1: Ever since I got the boat, it randomly cuts out at high speed. I can be cruising along at at 5-6k rpms and then it just shuts off like if the kill switch was pressed.
