Ford f250 on 37s

Tire pressure in 37" tires. I have a 04 6.0 with 37x13.5 Toyo's on it. Most people run way more air in their tires than needed. I normally let air out until the tire sits flat on the ground. To get a good footprint I had to go to 40psi front and 30 psi rear. This makes sense sinct the front should be heaver than the rear.

If you have a 3.31 axle, the only thing you can do to get it correct is set the tire size to 37" and deal with the CEL (P-1635 if memory serves). Or just buy a Hypertech and set it to 37" tires and be done. 37s and 4.30 gears = 10-12mpg average with the camper loaded on trips in mtns and wherever. Best so far was 13.5mpg. 4WD off road exploring for days resulted in 9mpg. He may not have realized it, but the installer did some pretty serious trimming of the fender well. I think 4.56 would be too tall, I’d recommend 4.30, good balance for towing and mpgs. I would go at least 4.88's if you tow anything remotely heavy.
