The 4L60E usually has an updated drum in it but DACCO sells one called "The Beast" that is a nice part to install....And only about $20.00 more than the updated one. The Forward gear that you have should feel sluggish because of no reaction from this shell. I do have every other gear and the motor even revs up like its going to go into reverse but it dont. I have read alot online and their saying the most common problem is sunshell teeth are striped.
