Feeling More Aches & Pains | 2 CM DILATED!I had my 38 weeks check-up and I'm 2cm dilated and 70% effaced. Last week I was 1cm with 0% effacement. I also lost my mucus plug. Any guesses on when this baby could arrive?? Doctor doesn't think I'll go past my due date (Jan 30th) but I also don't want to get too excited expecting this baby to arrive soon.

Effacement is how thin your cervix is and dilation is how open it is. 40% effaced means that your cervix is 40% thinner than it is during pregnancy ...
