When you load up your game, before starting your game, click on your mods button. Search for Silent Gear and click the config button. Choose Common Configurations and click modify. Next go to gear and scroll down to where it says "Allow Legacy Material Mixing" and turn it on. Click back then save and close out of the mods files.There is very little benefit to using silent gear, especially on a pickaxe. You can get max speed on an ATM pickaxe w/ enchants and apotheosis, easily enough. Going through any extra hassle isn't worth it, imo. You can get ATM in less than half an hour from starting, if you really wanted to. The alloys isn't disabled by default, not completely. You have to use the silent gear alloy machine to form the allow ingots. The configuration disables the ability to mix materials when crafting the item/tool, but you can mix materials in the alloy machine to create a handful of alloy ingots, giving you the mixes stats and bonuses.I make a bracelet with “kitty vision”. You need a bort, jeweler tool and a dimerald (I can think of the correct spelling but it’s made in a SG machine from a diamond and an emerald). Slap that on a bracelet for night vision. This is the grade of material for Silent Gear equipment parts. Silent gear equipment (based on the highest grade of material used in the head (e.g. the pickaxe head if it is a pickaxe)) can be repaired by putting materials of the same tier or a higher tier into Repair Kits.make just the normal armor and enchant it as much as possible and you’re basically invincible. i’ve been too lazy to make the mekasuit and i can tank lvl 4 dragons. But you can add the no fall dmg though silent Gear with a slime lining. Silent Gear is better because you can make armor out of unobtainium- vibranium.

The only way that I have been able to find to get Titanium is to get to the Titanium Tetrachloride in GregTech.
