Blackstone grill igniter not working

Just set up my griddle yesterday, and noticed there was no instructions to put a battery in. The griddle has an electric igniter, and seems to start up fine. Does anyone know how this works? Did it come with a battery already inside? Will I have to replace it at some point? No instructions about that in the booklet included. Thanks in advance. 1.
