The price is better, the CX does not have ported barrels- the SSC does. The are the same gun in dimensions & etc. Just my opinion.

In my opinion the CX shoulders better than the CXS but that's kinda personal because I'm a bigger dude and the CX has a slightly beefier stock. If you are tall you may consider the CXS. You have 1/2 longer Length of pull.
