The California Missions Trail Alliance (CMTA) is a platform for a coalition of organizations and individuals spread across the state to turn the Mission-to-Mission trail’s promise into reality. Like other long-distance trails, this one will sustain itself with a combination of grassroots and government support.California’s first mission was founded on July 16, 1769.
