You will be stressed, tired, and watched at all times. I can’t speak for CSX but the reviews online for my company are pretty accurate. Some over exaggerate a bit but for the most part yes. Here's reality when you commit to work at a class 1 as train crew of any type you are handing your life over to them for money. CSX has a good annual bonus and seems to be thriving in a bad economic environment. When the company is doing well, the annual bonus can be really nice, but can also be non-existent when the company is doing badly. As an Employee, CSX really seems to treat employees with respect and provide an understanding environment.Smith & Wesson's CSX 9mm is the pistol none of us asked for — or knew that we wanted.
