Imo, Sylvando is best with Knives. Most notably a Knife and Shield since Dual Wielding sucks for everyone except Erik and endgame Serena. He can Inflict status pretty easily thanks to his early access to Nastier Knives, he can dip into Whips as well to hrlp Inflict more statuses, although you should really be focusing Whips on Veronica over Sylvando.Hoslow is life. Urumi does get decent scaling with keen as does the thorned but the base damage on hoslow is higher. Unless you are running pure dex with keen infusions, hoslow is usually better all around.
