Yes, the plow will operate from the switches without comm to the controller. Remember the controller must be off ( no red light ) for the plow to work at the switches. If you cannot operate the plow from the switches, check to see if the module is sending power to the small wires/posts of the motor relay when using the switches.There is a red wire which should be tapped into the ignition switch side of the fuse panel so it will shut off when the truck is off.
