Freightliner cascadia ac not working
Intermittently, the sleeper berth AC almost totally quits blowing air, either heat or AC. It blows a little bit. The fan motor has been replaced. You can hear the fan motor change speeds as you adjust it, it sounds like it is working properly. Sometimes it just starts working fine again, then it just quits blowing again.Not sure on the Century,.. but on my Columbia my sleeper has its own condenser with its own lines for AC. It still uses the same heat exchanger on the front as the main AC,.. but the rest is independent of the main AC. Also has its own heater core and coolant lines for heat as well. Not sure how the control panel in the sleeper controls it all.I have a 2015 freightliner cascadia (vin#3akjglbg4fsgm4202), the sleeper ac controller is not working and neither is the blower motor. I changed out the controller and blower motor and still not working. The button for the sleeper ac in the front controller lights up when you push it then quickly turns off, not sure whats going on.

Apr 16, 2018 · Open the bunk and look at the airbox to your left. Next to the blower motor is a black box. See if the shop forgot to plug that back in. That can cause the AC in the sleeper to not cool properly. Yes. i tested the power supply at the temp. control module. there is 12.3 volts. i disconnected the power supply to the blower motor and got a 0 ground reading and 12 volts there. The control modules indication lights come on when the key is in auxilary, with the key on the lights go out and i have no operations.Then activate the AC controls. If you know how to check, see if the clutch on your AC compressor is spinning. If not you’ll need a refrigerant recharge on your truck.
