I have four lathes in the shop, three of them are flat-belt, a Cincinnati Lathe and Tool 16", South Bend 92-G 16", and one Logan 820-1 10". All three have threaded spindles, and all have been in our possession since the late 40's. Have never seriously stuck a chuck.
