Honda crv whining noise in reverse
Clutch in while parked = No noise. Tap the clutch about 1/4 the way in while parked = noise goes away for a min when cold, then comes back. I did hear the whining noise slightly in 1st,2nd and a bit in 3rd gear while still not fully to temp. But 5 min into driving it seems to go away completely.My mom said this just started today. Only in reverse, even at crawling speeds. If I jack the rear up to spin the tires, there is no noise. It sounds like the right rear but I’m not positive. Sounds like a hydraulic motor low on fluid. Car has 70k miles The rear diff fluid was replaced about 6k miles ago, using Honda Dual Pump II fluid.
