Prior to the recall I had a check engine light for an EVAP leak and just cleared it to see if it would come back. About a week after the bracket replacement it did come back.Two possibilities. No throttle response at all, the engine stays at idle, - Brake light switch playing up. Touching the brake pedal 'disconnects' the electric throttle pedal on Hyundai cars, this is to avoid the Toyota America 'run away car' problems. Second possibility. Poor throttle response, won't rev over about 3,000 intermittently.Second, the tq it's producing is far too close to the OEM torque limiters built into the ECU. The JB4 doesn't override them either. At 330 ft lbs of torque, it takes some considerable ECU tuning experience to raise the OEM torque and boost limiter, so the car won't go into and overboost condition and throw it into limp mode.
