A service will be held at Iles-Dunn's Chapel, 2121 Grand Ave in Des Moines on Thursday, May 25, at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Beverly was born in 1928 in The Dalles, Oregon and grew up in the beautiful Goldendale, Washington area. In 1947 she left for college at South Dakota State where she would meet her future husband Jim, a recently returned war hero.
