Staccato worth it? California handgunsOne of my carry pieces is the single stack version. Great shooter and light. 8 + 1 is plenty enough for me, if not I have the wilson x9s that accepts 15+1 in a subcompact package that will outshoot the staccato. Both great carry pistol that shoot really great. I like the c2 but I'm thinking of getting rid of it.Steel vs aluminum, I just have the C2s, and use them for carry and training. They have just slightly more muzzle flip than the steel Staccato P. If this is a carry gun, I would vote for Aluminum. If for range and training, I would choose the Staccato P steel frame. The DLC coating on the barrel is more cosmetic.

Not sure what the street price will be on these but list price is $645. More than a P2. Not sure if it’s worth it to you but I would stick with a used OG that people are dumping for cheap. Looking at the gap between the RMR and ejection port on the Staccato CS, I think these would block the ejection port. The Staccato is their entry level gun.I have a Staccato C dpo with the Dawson optic plate for the RMRCC. I need to swap the front carry sized sight for a proper co witness. My Staccato P dpo came with tactical front sights and my trijicon RMR co witness was right on with the Dawson optic plate. Hopefully my experience so far with the Staccato dpo options help.
My Staccato P was the same price and worth every dime, if this ends up running I am ditching my P365x for one. I still have not confirmed it but I believe the CS uses its own magazines, they finally shortened the tube for 9mm only now instead of 9mm/ 38 Super like the P, C2 and XC guns use.
