Nov 10, 2012. #1. Friend has a JD4240 with leaking remote outlets. All seals, receptacles, etc have been replaced. It leaks when the tractor is not in use and there is no pressure. I have had this problem with a number of models of JD's made in USA. Is there any seals that are better than JD parts.
