The M14 is no different.. AS long as the original firearm receiver has been properly "destroyed" it is now just a piece of metal.. No different than any other piece of metal used to create LRB receivers, or a piece of aluminum to make a AR15 lower.JRA Rockola M14's are a good deal, as its hard to build the same rifle building from parts for the same price, but if you buy your own parts you can control exactly what goes into it. So for about $250-$300 more (or so) compared to the Springfield Scout Squad with the walnut stock, one can purchase a rifle with forged compared to cast components (if that is important to one) and can "buy local." If they are truly having their own made, I would be really cautious about buying one until they’ve been proven to be good. I bought a JRA M14 back in 2018 but it was defective. I would load a magazine, pull the charging handle and would fire the first round fine. But it failed to eject the spent case and pull a new loaded shell from the magazine. I bought my JRA at Classic Firearms and when I called the for an RMA they put me in touch with Bula Defense.The M14.
