Opening to Lunar Silver Star Story Complete (US)The new character headshots are a total upgrade from Lunar and Silver Star Story Complete, and the characters’ overworld visual style is, in my opinion, perfect. It is a perfect blend of modern crispness with a classic 2D PS1 style — think Suikoden II or Grandia. The way characters move looks incredible, as well.

Lunar: Silver Star Story begins just like TSS: Alex is a young boy in the village of Burg, dreaming of adventure like his hero Dyne. His friend Ramus catches up to him and tells him of a giant diamond in the nearby WHite Dragon Cave. This gives Alex his first chance at real adventure. The 32 bit versions on PS1 and Saturn were called Silver Star Story and were given completely different graphics including anime FVM and a new soundtrack. There were many other changes to the story, one being that Luna stays with the party longer than the original. Enemies are now visible encounters and there's level scaling for boss battles.
