Course Offerings by Major Requirements. Here you will find a convenient summary of the quarterly course offerings which fulfill specific Literature major requirements. Please keep in mind that only the courses listed here fulfill these requirements, and any other courses must be petitioned through the department. Fall 2023. Winter 2024.Students admitted to the Ph.D. program typically receive financial support for 5 years during the academic year (October - June). The financial support covers tuition and fees, and is most commonly in the form of a Teaching Assistant (TA) position. Graduate Student Researcher (GSR) positions and other fellowship support are sometimes available as well.This course is a mixed Practicum/Seminar course designed to provide hands-on experience in research on infancy and early childhood. Students learn skills and are assigned responsibilities based on the project to which they are assigned. Students also participate in a journal club and prepare brief end-of-quarter presentations and reports.
