Oct 10, 2009 · I'm thinking it definately needs a tune up and some other minor maintenance. An issue I had planned on tackling as things started settling down for me here soon. However, yesterday as I was driving, the CEL came on in conjunction w/ the CRUISE caution light. Went to autozone, and got the P0420 code. My 09 Forester has around 130k on it and over the past few weeks I've had some issues with a P0420 code. I have a persistent code reader and have gotten that. I've cleared the code a few times and it comes back after 30 or so miles. I've also put in a bottle of Cata-Clean to help un-gunk the converter. Additional symptoms are, engine knocking ...
