So I've got a ton of Primes, good weapons, good melee stuff, great mods, but I've entirely neglected Archwings and know absolutely …Mausolon is very good and comes free when you get a necramech. Kuva Grattler and Kuva Ayanga are also very good for general use. Nominally best archmelee would probably be Prisma Veritux but they're all meh. For melee, prisma veritux is the best. For archgun, mausolon which you get from necramech is best for railjack.Note: My comment applies exclusively to Railjack missions. Read other comments for normal Archwing missions. Slash is still the best status proc by far. Slash gets changes to Particle (if I remember the name correctly), and basically every particle proc increases the total damage that the target receives by a small amount, stacking infinitely.
With that, as there's no real endgame archwing content, there's not a real need to get the so called "best weapon" out there, as honestly, it's not worth it. Allow me to clarify. I hated archwing till I built my fluctus, after I got it everything was do-able.
