Hello, I've been curious how many of you use the weapon multi-hit option in game? I have considered turning it on but when i did in the past it seemed like overkill, Movies and shows I've watched have had multiple zombies hit with certain weapons (machetes, Katana, Etc). Some weapons gain the ability to hit multiple zombies. Rolling pins, pans and saucepans can hit two enemies whereas two handed weapons like the baseball bat, axes and crowbar can hit up to three. Some weapons such as hammers and knives do not benefit from multi hit when performing an attack.honestly i feel like people exaggerate the difference between multihit on and off. sure, having it on is easier, but honestly combat is pretty much the same in both versions. if you're bad at the game with multihit off, you're not going to suddenly become good with it on, and if you're good at the game with it on you're not going to suddenly ...The good news is the game has heaps of acceptable (and necessary) breaks from reality, cabbages take about six months to grow and building any structure takes weeks to months, so multi-hit is completely acceptable. You may not be able to hit multiple targets effectively in real life, but you can most definitely do it. No multi hit or at best two hits from skill. ^That's the spirit. Knowing how to adjust your position among the zombies makes possible to fight 6~8 zombies at the same time if you are using blades, spears or axes. Blunt weapons is possible too but with less zombies. Idk I like multi hit but I'm pretty casual at zomboid.

Whether multi hit is on or off ;) if think it it would me more realistic if you could double push zombies if you are stroger or it should at least be easier with double handed weapons. Multi hit I feel is a crutch setting. Guns are the only real multi hit weapons. Aim outline is a game setting: Options > Cursor > Aim Outline > "Any Weapon". If you play Apocalypse, Multi-Hit is disabled by default. I think high strength characters are boring af but if you insist on playing one maybe try to increase zombie count and/or use the customizable zombies mod and set sprinters to like 5%.
